Our Post Office located at 347 7th Avenue West in Newark, NJ is one of the four locations in Newark, NJ slated to be closed.
The closing of the Roseville (07107) Branch of the US Post Office will result in inconvenience and hardship for thousands of residents and business owners in this service area.
We, the undersigned, are adamantly opposed to the United States Postal Service's plan to close the Roseville Avenue Post Office.
Though we understand, respect and agree that cuts must be made to make the Postal Service more efficient, the Roseville Avenue Post Office is an important, viable staple in both our personal as well as our business community.
The Roseville Section of Newark, NJ is a growing community and our Post Office is a critical component of our past and our future. As such, we respectfully request that the Postal Regulatory Commission explore other areas for cost cuts and keep our Post Office in operation.
Without a Post Office in these trying economical times, it would surely cause undo financial stress to the community, not to mention a major inconvenience for mailing purposes.
