Polar Bears are truly magnificent creatures. Today they have a population of about 20,000 to 25,000 worldwide. But due to rises in climate, chemicals in the atmosphere, and loss of sea ice which are produced from global warming that population has been steadily decreasing. Most scientists believe by the way things are going polar bears could be gone by the year 2050.

The government of Canada still hasn't taken much action to stop the extinction of polar bears, they even give legal rights for the Inuit people to hunt them. However if they new how many people care they might do more. Especially since the US is a whole another country they'll see how many people are concern.

We, The Undersigned of The United States of America, call on Prime Minster Harper of Canada to eliminate the hunting of polar bears in your country.

We understand that the Polar Bear is a endangered species and that their right to live in their natural habitat is far more important then hunting rights.
