This is a petition asking the owners to:
1) end the lockout;
2) create a temorary CBA;
3) operate under this temporary CBA;
4) work toward resolving the problem permanantly (the last meeting between the two sides was a week before september 15, the day the lockout started).
We do not agree with the lockout nor do we believe it is a solution to the labor crisis in the NHL. The two parties should resume discussions, during which both paties shall display signifigant effort toward a permanant CBA. During that time either the parites or a third party shall create a temporary CBA that will enable the NHL to be operational once more.
