The Molly Moggs pub has recently been reopened and is operating at its full former glory. It hosts drag seven nights a week and has karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays. It is ostensibly an LGBT venue but welcomes everyone into a warm, safe, all-inclusive environment. This is under threat as developers want to remove the stage, bring in 'mixologists' and turn it into a cocktail bar.
We, the undersigned, wish to protest in the strongest terms about the proposed redevelopment of the Molly Moggs pub. The venue hosts drag seven nights a week and provides a valuable and inclusive place to meet for everyone, not just the LGBT community, and it is too precious a resource to lose. We request that it be allowed to continue as it currently stands without imposing the unwanted redevelopment into a wine bar.
