The Roads and Maritime Service formerly the RTA, is trying to remove the original sandstone blocks of the 1836 State Heritage listed bridge to allow bicycles and walkers to move along the river bank.
The Greater Western Sydney Action Group asks that they do not interfere with the original fabric of the Lennox Bridge, but to put their tunnels in the development that is being built on the old David Jones site and the carpark across from the DJ's site.
I the undersigned ask that the original fabric of the David Lennox Bridge in Parramatta remain untouched and that the pedestarian and bicycle path be built around this very historic and State Heritage listed site.
