Thank you to everyone who took the time to sign this petition & for your support. This petition has been sent to the Principal of Coburg West together with a request for a meeting with the leadership team of the school.
On Friday 21st September 2018, it was announced through the school newsletter, that there was a proposal to cut the Greek Language Program at Coburg West Primary School at the end of 2018. We are concerned that there has been no community consultation or prior indication of this intention and request an urgent meeting with the Principal and School Council to discuss this proposal. Additionally, we feel that proposing this action at this late stage of the year does not leave much time for open discussion, therefore we request an urgent meeting by the 2nd week of Term 4.
We, the undersigned, request an urgent meeting with the Principal and School Council to discuss the proposal to cut the Greek Language Program at Coburg West Primary School.
