The Daintree Rainforest, a very rainforest with the most exotic animals undergoes a lot of threats which harm the rainforest and the animals and plants.
Climate change is becoming a major concern to biodiversity of the Daintree Rainforest. Global warming could decrease the habitat of many endemic vertebrate species which live in. It is predicted that seven frog species, five mammal species, three bird species and 3 skink species would lose over half their present habitat with only a 1 degree temperature increase.
When tourist enter the Daintree Rainforest, they are there to exoerience what nature has in store in for them, instead of respecting what nature has to offer, tourists will usually dump litter into the trees and and animals as they are lazy. By littering, it ruins the forest and soon, animals and plants will be extinct. Another way problem that the Daintree is harmed by tourist is because of the amount transport coming in and out the Daintree causing carbon dioxide which is harmful for animals and plants.
A big problem in the Daintree is housing, as the rainforest is getting destroyed by housing and roads as the workers are clearing trees, creeks and anything in the way in their buildings.
Another reason why humans are impacting the Rainforest is farming as trees and other objects in the rainforest are burned to clear way for farming and agriculture, Because of the soil and dirt are good for farming.

The reason we are writing up this petition is to save the Daintree Rainforest by gaining signatures and hopefully showing the Queensland Government to stop any more damage to the Daintree Rainforest.
