Every day, over 200,000 acres of trees are cut down. That's 178 acres every minute, and 78 million acres every year! Logging in the Amazon also causes climate change and increases global warming.

I call on the Law Enforcement and the Authorities of South America, to take action against logging in the Amazon. If the Amazon is obliterated by logging, all the wonderful creatures that live there will die, including all the trees.

The Save The Amazon! petition to South American Authorities And Law Enforcement was written by Carter Smith and is in the category Environment at GoPetition.
