Tanger Learning Center in Plymouth, MI is being threatened with be closed. The superintendent of the district has NEVER been to this school and is wanting to close it based on that "it looked on paper." That quote was his own words.

Tanger has been an educational center for students with speech and language difficulties for 36 years.

As a parent of two daughters who attend Tanger Learning Center, I want the superintendent, Michael Meissen, PhD, to reconsider his decision about closing this wonderful school.

For 36 years, Tanger has provided educational knowledge and support to their students and of course it's staff. The superintendent is threatening to scatter the Tanger student throughout the Plymouth, MI district and the staff is being threatened with their jobs. This is a community "village" who take great pride in the students education.

I am a part of this community whose child is being threatened with being placed in a school who does not know how to handle her needs. This applies for the other students at Tanger.

As a proud member of the district community I ask you to please sign this petition and keep TANGER LEARNING CENTER OPEN!
