The commissioners of Bradford County are refusing to renew the contract for this program, even though we have fulfilled every one of their requests. S.T.A.R. has been helping youth in the Bradford County for the past 14 years with great success.
We not only work with the schools but also the court system, juvenile probation officers, children and youth services and the families of the young people we are asked to help.
We have helped over 190 kids just this past school year alone.
We also offer summer sessions, all of which will come to an end unless we have a contract from the commissioners by the end of May.
We, the taxpayers of Bradford County, call on the commissioners of Bradford County to sign the contract with S.T.A.R. so our youth can get the help they need.
