The beautiful St Peter's Church in Somers Road, Southsea is under threat because of proposals to build a new church in Winston Churchill Avenue on land purchased from Portsmouth City Council.
To raise money to build the new church it will be necessary for the land at St Peter's Church to be sold, and for the church and it's community buildings to be demolished.

We, the undersigned, call upon the Priest in Charge, the Bishop of Portsmouth and his Diocesan Office, and Portsmouth City Council to refrain from demolishing the beautiful St Peter's Church, and it's community buildings in Southsea.
