Salar Khezri is a Kurd, one of the most persecuted people on the planet. Salar was born in Mahabad, Iran, and is a political refugee who sought a safe home in Norway, which he believed would protect him from persecution. As a refugee and political activist, he can NOT go back to Iran because he has criticized the extremist Islamic regime. If he returns, he will be arrested, tortured and probably executed. There is a lot of evidence of the Iran regime targeting and murdering brave Kurds, who fight ISIS and the Iran regime where they are perpetuating terrorism worldwide. Recently three young Kurds were executed by Iran, while world leaders stood silent.
Please don’t let this happen to Salar! The Norwegian Immigration Department are trying to deport him after he has been made to wait three years in Norway. He is locked up in Trandum Detention Centre and on the verge of being deported. He had a plate in his leg which, due to his rough treatment at the Detention Centre (where people are treated as criminals) came out.
Please sign the petition, which will be sent to the Norwegian Government. Norway should respect the UN Convention of Human Rights and allow Salar to stay in a safe country. We want to save his life and the only way this can happen is that he is not forced back to Iran.
There are other ways to help if you can spare the time, including writing to local members of Parliament, finding out more about Salar's case and the threat of his deportation and even boarding a plane at the last moment, if necessary, and refuse to sit down, to stop the plane from taking off.
Whatever you can do, a man's life is at stake and anything, however small, is really appreciated - thank you!

We, the undersigned, ask that Salar Caspian, who is a Kurdish political activist, NOT be deported to Iran, where the regime will arrest, torture and execute him for speaking out against their persecution of Kurds. We ask that he be released from the Detention Centre he is being held in and granted time and opportunity to see and engage legal counsel/assistance from NGO's/others in preparing his case for asylum in Norway.
