Hi everyone I have set up this petition to see if we can make a wave.
Sadly Roman court is under threat of being sold and demolished, meaning the elderly residents, some over the age of 90 years old, will now have to relocate. Please can we help to save this wonderful home in its perfect location for the elderly.

Roman Court provides a tight knit small community for the elderly to live. It allows them to live independently whilst still having the support and comfort of friendships close by.
What was once a sought after location for the elderly, even having to go onto a waiting list for a placement, is now a neglected building with lower numbers in residents, my nan being one of them. I truly believe this housing would still be booming if the care and maintenance had been more of a priority with Clarion. Unfortunately it would seem that money is worth more then lives! I feel it is up to us to now repay our elders and fight for something that is rightfully theirs!!!
If you can help in any way please let us know

By signing this petition we are calling on Clarion Housing to stop the proposed sale of Roman Court, save the home and protect our elderly.
They pay to live at this property and pay an extra fee of property maintenance. Repair the roof and make the building safe to be at full capacity, we know it will again be a sought after location, providing a community of independent living to those that need it. Instead of now making those that are most vulnerable, homeless!! Making them go through the stress of having to relocate themselves to housing which doesn't even provide an equivalent lifestyle. This stress could be detrimental to the elderly, knowing that some have health conditions and have suffered a stroke already. You have a duty of care to them!!
