Blackburn with Darwen borough council, as part of Building Schools for the Future are proposing to close down the only school for children with moderate learning difficulties, in the borough.
Many people do not agree with their proposals and think that Crosshill provides an excellent standard of education for these pupils, many of whom have attended mainsteam education and not been successful.
We want to keep the school open so that we can continue to provide an excellent standard of education for these pupils and the pupils of the future.
We, the undersigned, call on the Local Education Authority to revise their proposed plans to close down Crosshill Special School in Blackburn with Darwen.
