The government are currently trying to push through measures which will effectively privatise the health service. We want to urge the Labour Party, who created the NHS, to do more to save it.
We would very much like you to add your own comments to this petition.
We, the undersigned, request the Rt Hon Andy Burnham, Shadow Secretary for Health, to take immediate and urgent action to stop the privatisation of our National Heath Service.
The Labour Party is recognised and admired throughout the world as having created and introduced the NHS. We are sure that with that same energy and conviction it would be recognised and admired as the party which saved it from becoming a private health insurance service provided by multiple private sector organisations.
Our NHS is recognised as the most economical and equitable health service in the world with the highest patient satisfation (2010).
WE MUST NOT LOSE IT.
