As many of you know, not long ago our local Law enforcement was hit hard by the Commissioners Court of Jim Wells County by so called "budget cuts". Our Constables Offices were hit hard by getting their Deputy Constables jobs terminated.
Well here we are again with yet another hit for the Law Enforcement and Community. This time being salaries cut to our Law Enforcement officers and some upcoming termination of jobs. Not only is this affecting our Officers but also our community. It is leaving us all at risk, including Officers. The manpower will not be what is once was.
We do not want our community to be known by criminals as an easy target. Let's get tough, fight for our Men and Women in Blue. Our Law enforcement seem to be the only ones whose salaries and jobs are being terminated. Need I remind you these Officers put their lives on the line for us, for our families, to protect us all.

We the People of Jim Wells County Texas ask the Jim Wells Commissioners Court to please not cut any more of our Law Enforcement, and please show them the respect they deserve for putting their lives on the line to Protect and Serve. Instead look at other sources for "budget cuts". In these tough times we need our officers.
