Stop the closure of our A&E and maternity units! SW London NHS is planning to close the A&E and maternity units at two out of five hospitals in South West London. This will cause huge pressure on the remaining services and seriously harm the quality of care. Patients will have to travel further to receive vital treatment.
Stop the cuts! The closure of these key local services is motivated by a 24% cut to the local hospitals budget. It’s wrong that the financial crisis is leading to the closure of important NHS services.
