We the undersigned wish to stop the merger between two schools ST James Church Of England Junior School and Odessa Infant School.
Odessa Infant School currently has 390 pupils ranging from ages 3 to 7 nursey through to year 2.
We find the children do very well in this small well maintained enviroment.
This relaxed atmospire offers excellant educational benifits for all our pupils and staff which reflects in our outstanding ofsted reports.
We feel this merger will not benefit ethier school. At this present time we feel that we have a community based infant school with very experianced and dedicated staff who have used ther experiance to make this school what it is today.
We do not wish to lose the identity of our infant school and feel this would be detrimental to our school, pupils, parents,teachers and staff alike.

To the Education Department:
In recent years our ofsted results have shown how welll Odessa Infant School is run and maintained,
and the benefits this brings to our children and community.
We the undersigned therefore ask that the education department stop the merger between ST james Church Of England Junior School and Odessa Infant School.
