The Moor (Mud) Baths / Grandview Health Resort played an important role in the history and development of both the City and County of Waukesha, attracting visitors from across the country to Waukesha for treatments using the black moor.
As such, it is recognized by listing on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated a Local Landmark in the City of Waukesha.
Recognizing the importance of preserving our historic resources, we the undersigned are opposed to any action to delist the property, or to demolish or harm the integrity of the building or the other historic elements on the site, including the springhouse and the golf course.
