We aim to keep the nude beach open on Kalamalka Lake. There are plans to close the beach due to it's proximity to the new Rail Trail. We want to work with city hall to have a natural privacy barrier and signage alerting pedestrians about the "clothing optional" area while they walk along the Rail Trail. This new trail a great addition to the North Okanagan and we want to see a way that we can keep the nude beach open as well as draw tourists to the new trail attraction. Since toplessness is legal for both genders, we feel it's better to have an area where people can be free to swim and bath in the sun without possibly offending someone at a more family oriented beach. Let work together to make bring the Rail Trail to Vernon and Keep the Nude beach open. Thank you for all your support!
We, the undersigned, call on Coldstream City Hall and the Trail Ambassadors of the Rail Trail to work with us to maintain the privacy of the Kalamalka lake nude beach with the establishment of the North Okanagan Rail Trail.
