ITV1 have decided not to recommission The Palace for a second series.
It is a nice change to have a light hearted take on the royal family, with a mix of drama and humour.
We propose The Palace be given a second series, continuing the development of the characters introduced in this series.
The show is being unfairly stunted after just 8 episodes, without a chance to evolve into its peak.
With an average of 3.3 million viewers it is been considered a flop by many in the industry, but considering the number of channels now available free on digital, the number of viewers has now dropped for all channels in response to the choice viewers are now given.
