The Dual Enrollment program is one of the best programs to ever have been implemented at this school. Not only does it offer college credit for students without a rigorous AP Test, but it takes the same benefits of an AP test at a fraction of the price.
It also offers an amazing opportunity for students to challenge themselves and offer themselves to the rigor of a college campus. The first year has been an overall success in the perspective of the students though there have been road blocks along the way.
To take away the Dual Enrollment Program would severely harm the students at Chaparral and remove the opportunities from the substantial amount of students who want to strive in the program and will grow academically and personally.
We the undersigned call on the Administration of Chaparral High School to keep the Dual Enrollment Program at Chaparral ultimately for the Academic Fitness of the students.
