There is a gorgeous natural beach located on the shores of Lake Champlain in the Town of Plattsburgh, just north of the Adirondack Park. This beach was part of the historic hotel which is now the Clinton County Community College.

Since the late 1980s a group of residents calling themselves the Bluff Point Townhouse Owners Association, Inc. have "taken over" the beach and adjoining land despite the fact that the land is not, and has never been, in their possession.

They cut down every tree except one by "voting" to do so, and tore out all bushes, cattails and other natural vegetation. The beach is now a hideous and unsightly eyesore for all.

We, the undersigned, call on the NYS Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman, to dissolve the not for profit corporation named Bluff Point Townhouse Owners Association, Inc., and put an end to their destruction of nature, harassment of visitors and endless litigation that have destoyed this historic property and made it unusable and unsightly for all.
