Save Biada growers and employees

How many people know about the connection between Baiada and Steggles ? Not many I bet. But here is the thing. Baiada owns the brand name Steggles and Lilly dale. Recently a small reference was made on the news about Baiada closing their processing plant at Ipswich mid January 2018. A big deal was made about all the workers that are going to retrenched. And rightly so.But here is the other thing. There are 28 contract growers who supply chickens to this plant. All 28 have had their contracts ripped up [ so to speak ] and now face the prospect of bank re possession. There are multiple millions of dollars invested in these farms by individuals. There are people employed on these farms who now face the prospect of unemployment.
There are five people in my family [ me included ] who are now unemployed. What I want to ask you folks as shopping customers is... BOYCOTT all Steggles and Lilly Dale products. Show your support for all the good folk affected by this selfish action taken by the New South Wales based company, Baiada. If you care please share this around to help raise awareness. Show this N.S.W. company that Queen slanders won't put up with this crap. Thanks.
