The EMSB wants to close Bancroft Elementary to "offer the best we can give them in terms of an educational experience". Give me a break! Bancroft has been part of Montreal for generations and for good reason.
Not only are we the only school located in front of the biggest green space in Montreal but academics take a front seat. With an intense english and french program and so many extra-curricular activities I can proudly say that we are offering them the best in terms of an educational experience.
And with the most dedicated teaching staff I know these children are growing morally and emotionally in an atmosphere of cooperation and support. There is no choice.
BANCROFT NEEDS TO STAY OPEN!

We, the parents, students and the community are calling on the EMSB to recall their decision to shut down Bancroft. Past, present and future generations thank you.
We are strongly opposed to the closure of Bancroft, a school that has been serving the community for well over 75 years. HELP KEEP BANCROFT OPEN.
