The Balgaddy Community Garden has been an important part of the Community of Balgaddy since 2010. What was initially a derelict plot of land has been developed into an environmental project by members of the community.
The initiative was set up mainly by local people with the support of South Dublin County Partnership, Community Growers Fund, ETB, South Dublin County Council.
Unfortunately the Community Garden will be evicted on Saturday 28th February.
Please support the Community Garden we are protesting Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March.
There has been no public consultation and the community garden will be developed as a car park. Don't let community facilities be removed. It is the only community project and social outlet for people of all ages.
