Save Alex Boboc from Moldova

Dear Mr. President Donald Trump!
Frankly speaking it was not my idea to write this letter. My friend journalist persuaded me that I must try everything when it is a question of my son's life or death. I'm sure you'll understand me, as solving problems in extraordinary and creative manner is typical for you too.
Here I appeal for your help to save my son. His name is Alex and he is 19 years old. He suffers from a terrible disease - muscular dystrophy of Duchenne (DMD). Average life expectancy with this disease is around 20 years. Alex is almost 20.
The situation is deadly simple: he could live a long and happy life were he a citizen of the USA, because your scientists invented drug Eteplirsen produced by Sarepta that cures DMD. But he was born in poor Moldova, and his perspective here is to die. His monthly allowance is less than 30 US dollars, but Eteplirsen costs 300000 dollars. It's unreachable amount for us.
I applied to the president of Republic of Moldova, Mr. I. Dodon, he in his turn asked the ambassador of the USA in Moldova James D. Pettit who responded that USA embassy in Moldova cannot deliver Eteplirsen, but that treatment of my son is still possible.
Until recently muscular dystrophy of Duchenne was considered incurable. Back in 2006 me and my son Alex visited professor Jerri Mendell in his clinic in Columbus, Ohio, the USA. There was no Eteplirsen at that time. Then professor Mendell promised to accept Alex as a patient at his clinic in future, but must have forgotten about that, as 10 years have passed.
Dear Mr. President! I would never dare to detract you from your highly important work if it was not for my son's life. In spite of everything Alex is a winner of three international cybersport championships, is strong-willed and purposeful young man and someday probably can become a president too. He just needs his chance to live.
We ask you to send Eteplirsen to Moldova as humanitarian cargo, as our state can't afford to provide this drug for its people suffering from muscular dystrophy of Duchenne (around 100 people). Alternatively please assist Alex Boboc, a citizen of Republic of Moldova, to be accepted as a patient by one of American clinics.
I believe that my son will live. Mr. President, please write down his name in the list of your good deeds and let that day become the happiest day of life for me and my son! Thank you!
