The Post Office announced plans on 19 Feb to close the Post Office at 434 West Green Road as part of its London Area Plan. Residents have until 2nd April to oppose the closure before it takes effect.
David Lammy MP, Joanne McCartney AM and West Green Labour Councillors Gmmh Rahman Khan, Toni Mallet and Eddie Griffith are united with the community in campaigning against the decision and have launched a petition that we will deliver to the Post Office opposing this closure.
We, the undersigned, believe that the Post Office at 434 West Green Road is a vital resource for local residents and businesses and that the alternative post offices on Green Lanes and in Wood Green are too far away, especially for elderly and vulnerable residents.
We call on the Post Office to keep the Post Office at 434 West Green open and invest in its future.
The Save 434 West Green Road Post Office petition to The Post Office was written by Anonymous and is in the category Neighborhood Living at GoPetition.
