Safety is a Human RIght!: Improved transit and emergency evacuation to/from all caribbean Islands! (Direct flights and ferries)

This is a petition to make a global effort to vastly improve travel for all human inhabited areas such as the caribbean islands. This will not only improve infrastructure and allow modernization through trade but also preserve life in cataclysmic events such as powerful hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.

Many in the caribbean and southern US have been affected by hurricanes. Difficulty with travel and lack of modernization on many caribbean islands makes it very hard for the residents and the many US and foreign students who attend schools there to travel to and from these islands. Also, the lack of emergency protocol for the evacuation of these islands is unacceptable! Many nations spend millions fighting to preserve the lives of animals, nature, and human beings in the event of a disaster, but why must we wait for a disaster? Why can't we prevent these needless deaths all together while promoting modernization, education, and improved quality of life?

Improved travel would not only save lives, it would make these nations more self sufficient, improve education, bring business, and make drug and criminal activity in the caribbean more difficult.

Let's stop spending money on disaster relief and start helping people survive these disasters.
