Free public dump points in regional and rural towns, promote tourism and increase the local economy. Often free dump points are listed on camping and RV/Motorhome club websites which are easily accessible.
Toora Community Action Team in conjunction with the Toora Lions Club would like South Gippsland Shire Council and South Gippsland Water to action our request for a free dump point in Toora.
Our goal is for Toora to officially become an RV friendly town and we need the communities assistance in petitioning South Gippsland Shire Council and South Gippsland Water to come to an agreement on permitting a public access location for a free town dump point.
This is the last requirement to being granted RV friendly status and will go a long way to increasing tourism and economic sustainability for Toora and district.
