We are asking Mecklenburg County and the city of Charlotte to build a small neighborhood park on some four acres at 6501 Rumple Road. Additional land next to the proposed site could be purshased to increase the size of the park.
The area is greatly "underserved" and a small park would greatly improve the quality of life for all citizens who live within walking distance of the park.
We, the undersigned, sincerely petition Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte to purchase this land and build a small neighborhood park there as soon as is possible as the need for this park is so great.
