Just a quick thank you to everybody who has signed this petition over the last 5 years.
It's really been amazing to see how much some fans really cared and even today care about this anime. My E-mail has been getting bombarded with fanmail towards the anime nonstop over the last 5 years and it's been crazy.
I should've closed this petition off a long time ago, since my constant attempts to try to get a reaction out of GONZO have all ended in failure.
Truth is though, Rosario + Vampire did not do too well in the Japanese market and the fact that it got a second season was surprising enough. I can't say for sure whether or not there will be a third season for this anime. In my honest opinion though, I wouldn't count on it.
It's still crazy to me that this petition that I started 5 years ago has gotten as big as it has, it's almost at 30,000 signatures which is actually quite amazing.
Final thank you to everyone that signed and all the people along the way that helped to get the word out by sharing it around, and even helping me with research and getting a hold of GONZO a few years back when I received a response from them telling me at the time that they had no plans for a new season of this show.
Wrapping this up real quick. The petition is now closed. The outcome is that although we accumulated quite a number of signatures, it probably didn't help in getting us a new season of this show.

Rosario + Vampire deserves a third season. The last episode of season 2 did say to be continued, and there are still many characters that have not yet been introduced and still many major events that have not yet happened.
This anime should continue.
