A 22 year old woman trainee constable of District Armed Police, Rohtas, Bihar undergoing training at BMP-2 Headquarters has been suspended for getting pregnant. This is the uninvited and unwarranted action of the authorities depriving the woman from her human and gender rights. Her integrity towards her service and her adherence to her duties are intact then why has she been suspended? Feudal and orthodox mindset. Why can't an adult woman be left to stay unmarried and get pregnant. if she really wants to stay that way.
The unmarried pregnant lady suspended by Bihar police should immediately be taken back into service and the authority taking such nasty inhuman decision should apologise to her and entire woman community.
