As stated by the handbook that all males must wear a sports coat for their professional attire. This is inaccurately proven wrong by employers due to the changes that are acquired with the current dress code policies. An example is as followed from the Oklahoma County community sentencing unit which would apply to our Criminal justice students.
Male employees are required to wear a dress shirt and tie during court appearances, a suit or sport coat is preferred but not required.
As a student of Central Pennsylvania College I am requesting that the male appearance policy be changed to allow sweaters to be worn instead of sports coats along with a dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie.
This policy should be in effect from October for the winter months.
