FWISD has gone too far in 'inforcing' dress code, the rules have been ignored when convenient for them, and their agenda when it comes to their test scores. The Main school being identified here is AHHS in Fortworth whom have been pulling kids out of class and stoped their education and their learning just to sit in a class wair nothing is accomplished all day, in (in house).
Before TAKS kids were recommended to stay in class and prep for testing, but once TAKS ended kids by the dozen were told to report to in house and lunch detention, If all this prep really was for us, the students, then why is it that only when it was effecting the schools credit were we asked to stay in class and pursue our education.
I propose a change in dress code to accommodate everyone's means and budget. T shirts, leggings, blouses, and sweaters are all things that cover the privet areas and bare skin and should be accepted in class rooms.
It should be unacceptable to allow schools to take away the students education and pay more attention to what the student is wearing rather than what the children are learning.
