About five years ago, a danish couple went to Ethiopia to adopt two sibblings from an ethiopian couple that thought that they would soon die due to the AIDS-diagnosis they had got. The girl Masho 4 years old and her younger brother Roba 2 years old.
Masho desperately misses her mother throughout the entire process and the adoptive parents are displaying an abusive, narcissistic attitude towards little girl Masho which is clearly shown in the documentary "Mercy Mercy" - see link below to see the documentary. The danish adoptive-parents are psychologically abusive towards the little girl and then decides to put her away into a danish state orphanage. There she is now.
The birth family in Ethiopia regretted that they gave up their children as soon as they realized that they would loose all connection with them and then they got access to medications and are well able to take care of all their children.

This story is an example of how deeply the lack of human legal rights children are the victims of. And how INDESCRIBABLY cruel it is to keep this little girl Masho separated from her birth family and keep her in an institution in Denmark!
