Return Ward 1 back to a Gp led ward

When Ward Crieff Community Hospital was built it had two 20 bedded GP led wards, ward 1 was later converted to a Dementia care unit, this is now to be closed at end of March 2017 and converted into a hub, NHS Tayside wanted to keep this quite until January 2017 but were forced to arrange a staff meeting at 1 weeks notice, where they were informed of the closure and staff relocations, NHS Tayside have tried to cover up this move, and have lied about having already consultations.

The relocation of the Hub unit should be located into the King Centre a more suitable location working a Mon-Frid, 9-5 service, it will require some thought and work but is best suited within this building.

Ward 1 should be converted back to a general 20 bedded ward, releasing a small number of patients back to the community and reducing the Bed Blocking that the NHS is so concerned about, it will also allow the current staff to remain in Crieff with a few RMN nurse's being relocated, instead of all the staff.
