We, the concerned parents of year 2 Pupils of the Queens Park Infant Academy in Bournemouth, signed below and petition the school and the Governors to reverse the decision taken to stop hot lunch provision for year 2 pupils in the Spring Term.
This is the issue of fairness and making sure our children get the best provision possible from the school.
The concern is that the children will not have enough energy to achieve their best academically. Furthermore, children are used to having the hot meals at lunchtimes and the change is not welcome in the middle of the school year. In addition, we feel that the parents have not been properly consulted on the issue BEFORE the decision has been made.
We demand that the decision is reversed and the hot lunches are provided in the Spring Term the same way they have been since September 2014. We demand that a proper consultation is held with the parents BEFORE any change is introduced.
We have re-instated the hot meals orders for our children on-line.
