There is a place in Brookshire, Texas that has a facility named Brookwood. I would like to see a facility similar to that built in our area to help young adults and older with various disabilities learn a trade and become productive members of society.
There are a large population of young adults and older with various disabilities who are in need of further programming. Once they reach the age of 21, there are no longer services available to them by the school system. Something needs to be done.
We, the undersigned, call on the city of Weston, FL and surrounding cities, to provide an education and training facility for our children with various physical, emotional, and social Challenges.
We live in an inclusive city and want our children to be offered the opportunity to be included into their community and become productive citizens of our town.
