Rescue Santa Maria's Brazilian Kiosk!

For 12 years, the Brazilian kiosk has been an institution for tourists and locals alike in Cabo Verde - Sal. Now the Camara Municipal has given the owner 2 weeks' notice to remove it because it "does not look nice enough" to go with the new promenade that's due to be built.

The laid-back atmosphere, incredible location, kick-ass caipirinhas and an awesome crew have made this bar a landmark. It is also the main income source for 8 employees and their families.
Can you imagine Santa Maria without the Quiosk Brasileir??? This group is for you to share your stories and photos so that hopefully the authorities will see reason and reverse their decision.
