We are making this request because the nearest Community Center is more than five (5) miles from this property leaving the citizens of the area, especially its young adults & seniors with no suitable gathering place for a variety of social, education enrichment, and community service activities.
We, the undersigned citizens of the Memphis & Shelby County, Tennessee, petition that the Shelby County School Board to sale & convey to Trinity Prayer & Faith Ministries the property at 2300 Hernando formally known as South Area Office for Memphis City Schools for the sum of ($1.00).
This sale will allow Trinity Prayer & Faith Ministries to use the aforementioned property as a Community Center for the citizens of the Prospect Community.
