In 1973, the Whitlam Australian Federal Labor Party government created the Seas & Submerged Lands Act, 1973, as a new and alternative means of governing Australia; and this was done in deliberate defiance of the existence of The Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia and the provisions contained therein.
This was one of several actions by the Whitlam government to destroy the relationship between Australia and the founding constitution.
We, the undersigned, say that the Seas & Submerged Lands Act, 1973, was illegally created and ask that it be repealed.
