Brookline says it is a sanctuary city but in reality, the Brookline police department has been detaining subjects for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since 2012, even after Governor Patrick instructed Massachusetts State Troopers *not* to cooperate with ICE.
We, the residents of Brookline demand that the town stop cooperating with ICE and become a genuine SANCTUARY CITY which protects all residents and visitors to Brookline.
