The road heading south between Dilworth and the Merrickville/Kemptville spilt is in extreme disrepair and potentially dangerous to drivers. Several stretches of road show signs of severe weather damage and must be immediately resurfaced.
Roads in this condition would never be acceptable in the urban area of Ottawa so why do WE who use this road, have to wait until 2014 to have it fixed? This must be done immediately. All they are willing to do now is patch a few areas.
NOT ACCEPTABLE!
We, by signing or electronically signing this petition, call on Marianne Wilkonson as chair of the Transportation Committee, and Scott Moffatt, to petition Ottawa Council immediately, to accelerate the repair schedule for this section of road and budget in the 2012 budget, funds to resurface and repair the road.
