The new food plan that the government has put into effect does not feed us well or nutritiously. The food that they give us tastes terrible, is greasy, deffinitely not as healthy as it is supposed to be and is not enough to get people through the day.
We want to go back to when the food was cooked in the kitchens not just prepared. We want better tasting food and healthier food.
We, the students of USD 305, request that you, the USD 305 School Board opt out of the government funded school food plan and give us back the food that we had as few as ten years ago.
Give us back the salt, give us back the freedom to use as much condiments as we like, give us back the food that has been removed from the salad bar and the hot meal menu, give us more food and help us, the students of USD 305, to eat better and by eating better, do better in school.
