Ashton Court Festival has been held in Bristol since 1974, originally as the Bristol Community Festival, and has always had a relaxed atmosphere.
Despite starting to charge for entry a few years ago this has not been enough and Ashton Court Festival has this year taken the action of banning people from bringing alcohol into the festival site, restricting the expected 30,000 visitors to purchase drinks from the festival bars.
We, the undersigned, call on the organisers of Ashton Court Festival to repeal their decision to ban people from bringing alcohol into this years event.
