We are formulating this petition to the President of South Africa for immediate effect to stop the wrongful removal of children by any Social worker, and for the prescribed regulations to be followed to the T.
This is a petition to prevent Social workers from taking the law into their own hands and to stop lies in justifying unlawful activities.
We, the undersigned, petition that social workers conduct investigations before removing children, that the person laying the complaint be investigated thoroughly before any complaint may be registered to ensure that this is not a vexatious attack on a family member and that the best interest of any child should be regarded as paramount.
Any child above the age of 12 should be heard and their voice counts when allegations are made that would only in the end traumatize the children. The voice of the children should carry a paramount weight before any social worker can just remove.
State officials should desist in interfering in the removal of the child before a full investigation, and parents should not be treated as criminals and there should be intervention assistance from the social worker prior to removing the child.
Any social worker not following the prescribed regulations should be charged criminally for the neglect and trauma caused on a child and liable to a civil claim under the Constitution of South Africa.
