Having worked with multi-platinum artist Stevie Nicks and writing for the likes of Go-Go's singer Belinda Carlisle and the legendary Tina Turner, Sandy Stewart, a Texan singer and synthesizer player, was the dark horse songwriter of the 80's.

With her solo debut, Cat Dancer, released to vinyl in 1984, Stewart could be seen on MTV with her catchy "Saddest Victory". Nicks joined Stewart on the album for the deep ballad "I Pretend" and background vocals for the title track and the addictive "Get My Way".

After 1987's Blue Yonder with David Munday, Stewart faded into the background of the music industry to write hits and sing backup. Unfortunately, neither of these jewels were released on cd, itunes or remastered.

I hereby state that I support the proposition that Sandy Stewart's albums (Cat Dancer, Blue Yonder) should be remastered on cd and/or Itunes.

The Remaster Sandy Stewart Albums petition to Atco Records was written by Aaron Tremper and is in the category Music at GoPetition.
