There is a cover of Mike Odfields popular 1980’s hit Moonlight Shadow which was performed by a group called Missing Heart.
This song, titled Moonlight Shadow (New Vocal Version) has not been released as single but has been featured on compilation albums such as Dancemania which are produced by EMI Music Japan.
Unfortunately most of these albums only feature versions of the song which are either shortened or mixed with other songs in a non-stop ‘mega-mix’. Thus it is really difficult to find a full version of the song.
There is a similar version of the song that is not shortened but the vocals in that song are different to those found in the ‘New Vocal Version’.
The only full version of the New Vocal Version is featured on Dancemania Delux 5 and it is of poor sound quality and fidelity.
We request that EMI Music Japan release a CD that features a HIGH QUALITY, FULL version of the song Moonlight Shadow (New Vocal Version) by Missing Heart.
