Just to confirm, petition re Tommy was officially closed today. Think we were pushing on an open door toward the end to be honest as Tommy had been negotiating behind the scenes.

Tommy Langley is one of those rare individuals who played professionally for the team he followed as a boy. A dedicated, hard working forward who won the admiration of the Chelsea fans for his 'never say die' attitude on the pitch.
When Chelsea TV took off, Tommy quickly established himself as an astute and uncompromising pundit and demonstrated a unique ability to see the game from both the players and the supporters point of view. His wisdom, humour and passion for the club was always evident on screen and won him the admiration and respect of a whole new generation of Chelsea supporters.
Tommy was sacked in December 2011 after criticising the now sacked AVB for his treatment of several senior Chelsea players, a position now roundly accepted by the press, supporters, AND THE HIERARCHY OF CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB!
We demand the reinstatement of Tommy Langley whose only crime was to speak the truth while others were holding their tongue!

Tommy's outspoken and insightful analysis is missed by all followers of the channel, and we are appalled that such an iconic figure from the clubs past has been treated in such a fashion!
